SV #4 Unit I: Concept 2: Grapghing Logerithmic

In this video I am working on a video about Unit I Concept 2. It is graphing logarithmic equations and defining the asymptote, x and y Intercept, domain, and range. This will indicate the differences of logarithmic and exponential graphs. This equation that I am teaching you, is a type of equation that can explain many things. Hopefully my way of teaching you, was not as bad as I think.

The first step is naming the variables with the prober letter. For example, "H" is switching the sign, and is plugged in at "h". Secondly is finding the asymptote, this number will always be the letter "k". If it was exponential equation, then the asymptote will be letter "h". Next, you will find the points of x and y intercept to plot on the graph. After finding the first points, then you will find the range and domain. In this case, the domain will always be (negative infinity, positive infinity). Lastly, you will find the key points by plugging in the equation to your calculator and trace the number you chose, that will give you the y-intercept.

SP#3 Unit I: Concept 1: Graphing Exponential Graphs

In this problem, I am showing you how to graph a exponential graph. This graph does not have a x-intercept because is becomes undefined when you solve. You cannot have a negative on the other side. You will have a y-intercept. You find the y-intercept by plugging in zero in the "x" value. The domain will always be (negative infinity, positive infinity). The range depends on the asymptote. You will plug in the equation and trace any numbers to get more point of the graph. This will make you get the line I have gotten. It is a really simple process, just have to know your rules.

SV#3 Unit H: Concept 7 Finding Log using approximations

Feel free to watch my video by clicking here

This video was created to for my fellow partner, about a concept in Unit H. Unit H talk about logs and how to expand it and unexpanding. We are learning to how to create our own problem of concept 7. It is like a treasure hunt. You will be given clues and keys to find the answer, or code. This includes expanding, factoring, and knowing when to subtract and add. This problem is pretty simple, it explains how I got my answer and have the steps in order.

There are four steps in this problem. First of all, I am giving you keys that define a specific letter. Your answer should end up having four letters, one number, and repeated letter. Secondly, you will find the factors using the logs only. Thirdly, you have to write down the clues that are given. This should help you find the number. Lastly, is plugging in the correct log, and replacing it with the letter. The world you should have gotten is SOUL.

SV#2: Unit G Concepts 1-7 - Finding all parts and graphing a rational function

Please view my video by clicking here

For the past days we have been learning about Graphing Asymptote. This week we are focusing on the four major asymptote which are Horizontal, vertical, holes, and slant. This indicate and expalin why we got the graph that is showing us in the graphing calculator. It is a way to find all the missing peices for the graphing equation. This is just the beginning of Graphing Asymptote.

Ms Kirch hastaught us songs to learn the method for each asymptote. Also made us create note cards, now we are explaining what we think we know. My equation is a slant asymptote, since the top degree is bigger than the bottom degree. I have shown you how to find the domain, x and y intercept, holes, and graphing it. Hopefully i explained it right, if not please fill free to correct me.
